Boy Scout Brings EMS Monument To Glen Cove
The monument was dedicated to recognize and remember fallen Glen Cove EMS heroes.

Glen Cove EMS hosted a special ceremony at their headquarters to dedicate a new EMS monument. The ceremony kicked off Emergency Medical Services Week in Glen Cove.
The monument was dedicated to recognize and remember fallen Glen Cove EMS heroes.
The ceremony was made possible through the work of Conor Lynch, who helped develop the monument for his Eagle Scout project. Lynch also serves as a captain of the Glen Cove EMS Explorer Post 1072.

The scout worked with the EMS leadership team to fundraise to underwrite the cost of the monument and worked with a local monument company to make his vision a reality.
Lynch was joined at the ceremony by Glen Cove EMS and Explorer Post 1072, Boy Scout Troop 6 leaders and peers, Mayor Reggie Spinello, local officials, family members of the fallen and friends. Lynch was thanked for his commitment to the Glen Cove community and the City’s volunteer emergency medical services team.
