The melodious event kicked off with band students, who played “Our Director,” “Holiday Sampler” and Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree,” under the direction of band teacher Edward Smith. The orchestra was next to perform, entertaining those in attendance with “Jazzy Old Saint Nick,” “Rock of Ages,” and “Auld Lang Syne.” The show concluded with the Fifth Grade Chorus, made up of the entire fifth grade class, singing traditional favorites, such as “Winter Wonderland” and “Feliz Navidad.”
