Cove-er Times Editor Wins Journalism Award

Glen Cove High School sophomore Isabel Blas, editor-in-chief of the school newspaper, The Cove-er Times, placed third in the Best Feature Story category at the Best of High School Journalism Awards Day sponsored by LIU Post. Isabel’s article appeared in The Cove-er Times Fall 2015 issue.

The awards ceremony was held on April 8 at the LIU Post Brookville campus and attracted high school journalists from Nassau, Suffolk and Queens’ counties.
