Glen Cove Student Places First At Film Festival

The senior also placed first at the festival last year.

For the second consecutive year, Glen Cove High School senior Julia Farley placed first at the LIU Post Student Film/Video Festival.

Julia's animated piece, "Keeper" is an original story from her remarkably creative brain. The judges remembered Julia's winning piece, "Pretty" from last year and were impressed that she managed to pull out a simultaneous victory. They were also impressed with how her abilities and skills as a storyteller have matured.

Senior Laura Roesch also presented her video "John Jacob" at the festival and received critical acclaim from the judges and positive comments from the students in attendance.
