Glen Cove Students Tour the Met to Prep for AP Exams
The students viewed artwork from civilizations they learned about in global history class.

Glen Cove High School academic support students educated themselves in the arts while visiting the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City on April 12.
During the visit, the students received a guided tour through exhibits featuring ancient civilizations to help prepare them for their upcoming global history Regents exam in June. They also viewed artifacts from ancient Greece, Rome and Egypt, and enjoyed seeing different statues, tools, vases and other objects from civilizations they learned about in their global history classes. The students were chaperoned by academic support teachers Scott Johnson, Liana Caesar-Quaye and Laura Makula. Teacher Maryellen Cuomo also chaperoned the trip.
