Man Charged With Glen Cove Home Invasion That Led to Shooting
The 20-year-old is being held on $1 million bail.

Authorities have arrested the man responsible for the Glen Cove home invasion that led to a 22-year-old man getting shot in the chest on Wednesday, Sept. 30, according to Glen Cove Police.
David Shuler, 20, of Garden City, was arrested Wednesday and charged with first degree burglary and first degree attempted robbery.
He was arraigned Thursday at First District Court in Hempstead and is being held on $1 million bail.

Following the home invasion, detectives executed a search warrant at the 1 Eldridge Place home and subsequently arrested the gunshot victim’s brother on Monday.

Leo Duchnowski, 24, was charged with two counts of fifth degree criminal possession of a controlled substance with the intent to sell and second degree criminal possession of marijuana.
The victim, identified as Milo Duchnowski, 22, was reportedly critically injured from the shooting. He is recovering from a gunshot wound to his chest and is expected to survive, police said.
Authorities are still investigating the incident.
