Panera Bread Comes to Glen Cove-- And They're Hiring

A drive-through Panera Bread is expected to open at the new Piazza in Glen Cove and it will bring 60 jobs to the local community.

This Panera Bread will be the second location on Long Island to feature a drive-through window. The bakery-cafe is expected to open some time in May.

Panera Bread is accepting applications for associates with experience (preferred), but not required. Applicants must be 18 and over to apply. Those interested can apply at the Glen Cove location, 1 Village Square, from 9:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. Remember to bring valid identification. Panera is hiring managers with two years of management/leadership experience. You must be 18 and over to apply and you can apply online at www.dohertyinc.com/career-connection.

The Glen Cove Panera Bread will serve breakfast from 6:30 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. Monday through Friday and 7:00 a.m. through 9:00 a.m. Saturday and Sunday. Lunch and dinner are available until 10:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday and until 9 p.m. on Sunday.
