In their efforts to make downtown a “walkable community,” the Glen Cove Downtown Business Improvement District helped build pathways from Glen Cove Avenue to the municipal parking lot behind the and .

Under the auspices of , the B.I.D. retained the services of Cabo Landscaping to level, define and smooth the surface of the walkways, providing pedestrians with a more substantial path.
