Save The Date: Glen Cove Volunteer Fire Department Open House

On Sunday, October 19, 2014 the Glen Cove Volunteer Fire Department will hold its annual fire prevention open house from 1-4 p.m.

Residents of all ages are encouraged to attend. The event features several demonstrations including rope rescue, fire-hose handling, car fires, auto extrication, and kitchen stove and oven fires.

There will be fire truck rides, and firefighters will offer safety tips and practical steps to prevent fires at home. In addition to the fire department the Glen Cove Harbor Patrol, Glen Cove CERT Team and Glen Cove EMS will also be at the open house.
