Artists: Claim Full Benefits of Gowanus Open Studios by Registering Before Sep. 1
Arts Gowanus is encouraging all local artists to register for this year's Gowanus Open Studios weekend festival by September 1.

GOWANUS, BROOKLYN — Don't forget, Gowanus artists: you have until Sep. 1 to get the full benefits of registering for this year's Gowanus Open Studios event.
The artistic weekend, which runs from Oct. 14-16, allows area artists to open their studies up to visitors, sharing their process and work and building connections to the community.
Arts Gowanus, which puts the festival together, provides a variety of services to artists who register by the September deadline, such as circulating promotional materials and including their studio's name and location in a printed street map. (You can still register after Sep. 1, but you won't be included in the festival's printed guide.)
