By Sara Rietbroek

1111 Marcus Avenue & AREA Property Partners welcome new tenants, Display Technologies LLC and The Hain Celestial Group to the 94-acre site that was once home to the United Nations.

Display Technologies LLC, an industry-leading point of purchase equipment supplier, has signed a 10-year lease. They moved their headquarters from College Point, Queens, bringing with them 61 jobs and a promise to create four additional jobs within three years.

The Hain Celestial Group, a leading natural and organics products company, signed a 15-year lease and have moved their international corporate headquarters from Melville, in Suffolk County, and relocated its 250 existing jobs with a promise to create over 100 new jobs over the next 10 years.

“We are excited and pleased to welcome both companies to 1111 Marcus Avenue,” said George Mullen, General Manager for AREA Property Partners. Both Display Technologies and The Hain Celestial Group received tax incentives from the State of New York through the Empire State Development and the Nassau County Industrial Development Agency (IDA).

In his remarks, Nassau County Executive Mangano stated, “Nassau County is working hard to create new jobs and the IDA has been playing a major role in bringing businesses to Nassau County and revitalizing local communities.”
