Do you know a local hero? Someone who selflessly helped
others after Hurricane Sandy?
The Bethpage Air Show at Jones Beach is hosting a “Community Heroes of
Hurricane Sandy” essay contest
honoring individuals who helped make a difference in their community
following the devastation of Hurricane Sandy.
Ten winners will be selected by a Bethpage
judging committee, with one Grand Prize Winner receiving a once in a
lifetime opportunity to fly with the GEICO Skytypers! Nominees must
resident in Nassau, Suffolk or Queens Counties. Fans
can nominate as many individuals as they would like.
