Concert: "The Peacemakers"

The premiere Long Island performance of The Peacemakers, a contemporary choral work written in 2011 by Welsh composer, Karl Jenkins, presented by the Chancel Choir and soloists of The Congregational Church of Manhasset. Under the direction of Craig Tocher, the piece features texts from iconic, historical figures who have been at the forefront of promoting peace. Accompaniment provided by strings, percussionists, guitarist, woodwinds and keyboard. Reception following concert. Free admission. The church is located at 1845 Northern Boulevard, Manhasset.
