The Great Neck School of Dance along with the PTA of PS 67 is proud to present “A Holiday Concert of Music and Dance” This performance will also include a food and clothing drive to benefit the victims of Hurricane Sandy. The first half of the program will be a seasonal music concert performed by the Yonitte Ryger Studio. Following the musical concert will be “The Nutcracker Suite”. This is a suite of dances which begin with the battle scene and continue through the entire Land of the Sweets. These dances will be performed by children, ages 7-16, from The Great Neck School of Dance. The children will be joined by artists from the American Ballet Russe, Great Neck’s own professional ballet company. This performance is ideal for children from the age of 3 and older. Every little girl will delight to see the dolls from Clara’s collection of dolls from all over the world come to life and dance in the Land of the Sweets. Senior citizens will love it as well.
