2019 Suffolk Slaying: Police Looking For Killer(s) In Cold Case

DIX HILLS, NY — Suffolk County Crime Stoppers is seeking the public's help in finding the person or people who police said killed a Dix Hills man in his own home in 2019.

Armindo Reis was found shot to death in his home at 22 Penn Dr. on June 11, 2019, at
approximately 6:15 p.m. after friends and family were unable to contact him, police said. Reis, 74, who lived alone, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police ask anyone with information to reach Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and leave an anonymous tip via phone call at 1-800-220-TIPS, using a mobile app which can be downloaded through the App Store or Google Play by searching P3 Tips, or online at www.P3Tips.com. A cash reward is offered for information that leads to an arrest.
