Dix Hills Fire Department Installs Officers

New 2017 officers were recently installed at Dix Hills Fire Department's Annual Inspection Ceremony.

The event was held Sunday at fire headquarters.

Dix Hills Fire Department volunteers responded to 2,349 emergency calls for assistance in 2016.

Shortly after the ceremony concluded, firefighters battled a Dix Hills blaze still dressed in their dress uniforms.
