Don't Forget: Library Budget Vote Today

Residents to vote on new spending plan and board of trustees.

We've seen hundreds of events come and go in the community, but how often does one pass you by that you wish you hadn't missed out on? That's where we come in. Each week Half Hollow Hills Patch will post a quick reminder about the events, activities or important tasks whose deadlines have come.

Today is the Half Hollow Hills Community Library budget vote and trustee election. Residents can place their ballots from 9:30 a.m.- 9 p.m. at the Dix Hills branch.

The library snipped and clipped its proposed spending plan so that there will be not a single cent increase in the 2012-13 budget from the current year's spending plan. The preliminary budget is set at $7,219,116, the same figure that was approved this time last year.
