Mixed Media Prints Art Exhibit

The Art League of Long Island is privileged to present the work of three renowned, innovative printmakers from the metropolitan area: Catherine Bebout, Mark Johnson and Dan Welden.

"Bebout, Johnson, Welden: Mixed Media Prints" presents each artist's explorations in creating a unique print.

Catherine Bebout's works have numerous layers and printing techniques, from intaglio printing, to chine colle, to carbon transfers.

Mark Johnson utilizes digital media in addition to intaglio and relief printing techniques.

Dan Welden creates his mixed media prints initially from solar plate etchings and reworks them by hand.

Their work invites contemplation, study and appreciation of the craft.
