I am a junior in the Half Hollow Hills school district, and also a Girl Scout Ambassador working on my Gold Award project. For my Gold Award, I am doing a community service project titled “Everyone Can Play”. “Everyone can Play” is for students who may not have the opportunity to play a particular sport due to various reasons. I would like to be able to give them an opportunity to discover a hidden talent, allow them to participate on a team, or simply to experiment with a sport that they are interested in and might not have been able to try before.
I will be hosting a donation drive at the HHH library where I will be collecting any new/gently used equipment (for any sport). These donations will later be redistributed to students in various school districts on Long Island. All donations are appreciated!
