
Police are investigating an armed robbery of the Deer Park Papa John’s restaurant that occurred on Tuesday night.
Police say a man entered the pizza chain, located at 1840 Deer Park Avenue, with what appeared to be a handgun at about 9:30 p.m. and demanded money.
An employee complied and the robber fled with an unknown amount of cash. A Suffolk Police aviation unit assisted in searching for the man, but no arrests have been made.

A Domino’s in Sayville was also robbed on Tuesday, but police said the robberies are not related.
