Suffolk County Legis. Lou D'Amaro, D-Huntington Station, visited the Melville Knights of Columbus on Wednesday to learn and discuss local issues affecting families in the community.
Grand Knight William Murphy and members of the St. Elizabeth Knights of Columbus Council of Melville invited the legislator to talk about topics including sewers, development, taxes, gas prices, open space acquisition and road improvements.
“I would like to thank Grand Knight Murphy and his fellow members for welcoming me to their recent meeting,” D’Amaro said. “I enjoyed hearing what was on their minds and being given the opportunity to update them on County and local issues.”
