Library Budget Approved, Steinig Re-Elected

The budget, a 1.7 percent increase over the current fiscal year, which ends on June 30, passed by a vote of 305-112.
Speaking with Patch last month, library director Michele Lauer-Bader said, "We are committed to maintaining the Half Hollow Hills as a library of excellence at a reasonable cost."

Renee Steinig was re-elected to another five-year term as a library trustee. Steinig, who ran unopposed, has been on the board since 1993. She currently serves as vice-president.
