Bliss Nails is the preferred nail salon of Melville resident Tammy Rothman. Located at 150 Manetto Hill Road in Plainview, they offer complete nail care as well as waxings and 10, 20 and 60 minute massages. Rothman finds Bliss to be exceptionally neat and clean and always on time for their appointments. The best part, according to Rothman is “they give a great leg and foot massage with their pedicures.” Manicures start at $8 and pedicures start at $22. T.I. Elite Nails is located at 212 West Jericho Turnpike in Huntington Station and was recommended by Dix Hills resident Barbara Permutt. This large busy salon, which is under new management, offers complete nail care services including manicures, pedicures, tips, wraps, gels, waxings and facials. Per Permutt, "This salon is clean, does a good job and even when they are busy on a Friday or Saturday, you never have to wait long." They can be reached at 631-425-7976.
Noble Nails located at 135 West Jericho Turnpike in Huntington Station was suggested by Dix Hills resident Marcia Feingold. This busy but well staffed salon offers complete nail care services plus massages, facials, waxings, eyelash extensions and tinting and combination spa packages. Honey Delight is the chosen favorite of resident Karen Forman. Honey Delight has 2 convenient locations - 3021 Jericho Turnpike in East Northport across from Wild Ginger and 6333 Jericho Turnpike in Commack in the Plaster Funcraft shopping strip just west of Commack Road. According to Forman, this salon is very clean, spacious and has an upscale feel. As for Forman’s favorite service, “I particularly love their gel manicures. They last for two to three weeks!”
Kozy Nail Salon located at 146 West Jericho Turnpike in Huntington Station, next to NV Hair Salon, was recommended by Melville resident Liz Orlin. Orlin appreciates this salons use of sterilized tools. A new, sealed bag of supplies is used on each individual customer.
