Harlem Lenox Avenue Shooting: Police Seek 2 Suspects
Police shared video of the two men accused of shooting two people, including an innocent bystander, steps from 125th Street on Tuesday.

HARLEM, NY — Police have released surveillance footage showing the two men accused of shooting two other men on Lenox Avenue just north of 125th Street on Tuesday.
The two suspects were seen walking in front of 304 Lenox Ave., steps from Red Rooster restaurant, around 7 a.m. Tuesday, police said.
Both men then took out guns and fired them multiple times toward a group of people — hitting a 60-year-old man in the chest and grazing a 21-year-old man in the neck, according to police.

The younger man was the intended target, while the older man, a former NYPD detective was on his way to work and got caught in the crossfire, according to the Daily News.
The older man was hospitalized in stable condition and later released, the Daily News reported. The 21-year-old refused to answer questions from police after the shooting, according to the newspaper.

The two suspects ran south along Lenox Avenue after the shooting, according to police, who shared video showing them standing on the block just before the shooting.
