2 Men Charged In Connection With September Harlem Homicide

Two men have been charged in connection with the death of a man in Harlem in September, police announced Thursday.

HARLEM, NY – Two men have been charged in connection with the death of a man in Harlem in September, police announced Thursday.

On Sept. 2, around 11:24 p.m. at 141 West 110 St., a 28-year-old man was punched in the face by an unidentified man who fled, police said.

Police found the man, identified as Nicholas Brittain, around 12:40 a.m. He was brought to St. Luke's Hospital, where he was pronounced dead Friday, Sept. 11. The medical examiner deemed the incident a homicide.

Following an investigation, two men were arrested and charged in connection with Brittain's death.

Lorenzo Scott, 57 of Queens, was arrested on Sept. 22 and charged with tampering with physical evidence.

David Brown, 33 of the Bronx, was arrested on Sept. 25 and charged with criminally negligent homicide and tampering with physical evidence.
