Members of the Harrison School community will host a celebration in honor of Superintendent of Schools Louis N. Wool to recognize his selection as the 2010 New York State Superintendent of the Year. The celebration is sponsored by the HCSD Board of Education, Harrison Administrators Association, Harrison Association of Teachers, Harrison Educational Foundation, Harrison Parent Teacher Council and PTAs, Civil Service Employee Association 9180 and Civil Service Employee Association 9108-1. The program will begin at 7 pm in the Performing Arts Center at Harrison High School, with a reception immediately following in the cafeteria.
Superintendent Wool was named the 2010 New York State Superintendent of the Year by the New York State Council of School Superintendents and was presented with the award at a ceremony in Albany on January 11, 2010.
