LEARN ENGLISH AS A SECOND LANGUAGE AT THE WEST HARRISON BRANCH LIBRARY

English as a Second Language:  Course for Beginners: Westchester Community College English Language Institute course for beginners.  Start the process of learning and actively practicing basic vocabulary, grammar, speaking and listening skills necessary for daily living, employment and post secondary education .  Classes are free. Students must only purchase books ($27 cash only, exact change).  All classes are held  at the West Harrison Branch Library, 2 Madison Street, West Harrison.  Registration on Tuesday, January 17 from11am to 1pm.  At registration everyone is interviewed and tested to determine the best level.  Classes will be held Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10:15am to 1:15pm beginning Tuesday, January 24 through Thursday, May 3 (skip 3/13 and 3/15).  For info call 914/606-6656.
