WEATHER ALERT: Hazardous Weather Outlook Issued; Will Tropical Storm Joaquin Affect Harrison?
Thunderstorms and soaking rain the next two days, and some flooding concerns, then eyes quickly turn to a tropical system on Friday.

After about six weeks with very little rain, now Westchester County has a chance of rain in the forecast daily through Sunday before the sun is expected to return on Monday.
The National Weather Service has issued a “Hazardous Weather Outlook” for heavy rains beginning Tuesday evening and likely continuing into early Thursday, before a new batch of heavy rain is expected Friday lasting into the weekend.

“Localized heavy rainfall tonight may produce minor flooding of urban and poor drainage areas,” states the NWS.
And after the heavy rains curtail to showers by Thursday, we may have to deal with Tropical Storm Joaquin, or remnants of the storm, the National Weather Service writes.

“Another round of heavy rain is possible late this week into this weekend, which could bring additional flooding concerns. This rain may be in association with a tropical system that is forecast to track somewhere off the Mid-Atlantic Coast.”
At least we definitely need the rain.
