Vehicles Damaged at Islandia Construction Business

Police investigating incident that occurred early Sunday morning.

Police are investigating an incident in which five vehicles were damaged at an Islandia business early Sunday morning.

Police say an unknown person or people jumped over a chain link fence to enter the property of Bancker Construction Corporation, located at 218 Blydenburgh Road, on Sunday sometime between 2:30 a.m. and 3:30 a.m.

Once inside the yard, the suspect and/or suspects painted graffiti on a GMC pickup truck, a storage trailer and on pavement. A Subaru Forester was driven into a Peterbilt vehicle and a second Subaru Forester was driven into a pile of steel beams. A second GMC pickup truck was driven through a fence, police said.
