Fight Over Seat On The F Train Leaves Man Bleeding: Cops

Police are looking for the man who attacked a 50-year-old as the train pulled into the York Street Station.

DUMBO, BROOKLYN — A 50-year-old man was left bleeding Wednesday morning after someone attacked him on the F train, police said.

The 50-year-old and another man were in a verbal fight over a seat as the F train pulled into the York Street subway station, police said. But when the dispute escalated, the second man punched and kicked the 50-year-old in the head, causing a cut lip, pain to his abdominal area and bleeding to his head.

The attacker fled the train at the York Street station and police are asking the public's help to identify him. The victim refused medical attention at the scene.

Police describe the attacker as a black man, 35 to 40 years old, wearing glasses, a gray hoodie and blue jeans.
