New Supermarket Coming To DUMBO In 2018

DUMBO MARKET, a grocery store stocked with fresh and prepared gourmet food, is expected to open on Front Street early next year.

DUMBO, BROOKLYN — The neighborhood is getting a big new supermarket next year, developers announced Thursday.

DUMBO MARKET will open its doors at 66 Front St. — the former home of the parking lot Park Kwik — in early 2018, according to the DUMBO-based development firm Two Trees.

The 16,000-square-foot grocery store will have a deli counter, in-house butcher, seafood department, bakery and will serve up fresh produce, fresh cut flowers and gourmet prepared foods, developers said.
