NYC Subway Delays: Falling Debris Snarls 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 Trains
Falling debris at the Hoyt Street station delayed 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 train service during rush hour Friday morning.

DOWNTOWN BROOKLYN — Southbound trains slowed to a crawl during Friday morning rush hour when falling debris at the Hoyt Street station caused service changes on the 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 train lines, the MTA announced.
The MTA warned of delays on all five lines around 9:30 a.m. Friday morning and announced the following service changes:
Southbound 2 trains were rerouted to the 5 line between the 149th Street-Grand Concourse Avenue and Nevins Street stations.

Southbound 3 trains were rerouted to the 1 line between Chambers Street and South Ferry stations and certain southbound 3 trains terminated at 42nd Street-Times Square, 14th Street, Chambers Street or Wall Street stations.
All 3 train service was replaced by shuttles between New Lots Avenue and Atlantic Avenue-Barclay Center stations.

Southbound 4 and 5 trains ran local between Atlantic Avenue-Barclays Center and Crown Heights-Utica Avenue and Flatbush Avenue-Brooklyn College, respectively.
