The grocery store is the latest of several retailer to open at the City Point complex, which hosts Alamo Drafthouse, Target and the DeKalb Market Hall, a new food hall with Katz Deli and Ample Hill Ice Cream stations.
The new Trader Joe’s is less than a mile away from Brooklyn's only other Trader Joe’s — located on Court Street near Atlantic Avenue — which has earned a reputation for long lines and crowded aisles.

It would be nice to shop at a Trader Joe's in Brooklyn without it feeling like I'm in the Hunger Games.
