2 Hurt From NassauHouse Fire: Police

It happened Wednesday afternoon at a home on Page Drive.

HICKSVILLE, NY — Two people were injured from a Wednesday afternoon house fire in Hicksville, police said.

The residents had left the home on Page Drive upon the officers' arrival. The Hicksville Fire Department extinguished the blaze.

The Nassau County Fire Marshal, Arson Bomb Detectives and the Town of Oyster Bay Building Department responded to the scene.

The victims were brought to the hospital for treatment and evaluation, police said.
