UPDATE: Deaf, Mute New Cassel Man Located
BREAKING: The man went missing Saturday night, police say.
UPDATED at 10:10 a.m.: Mohammed Saleem, 31, of New Cassel, has been located, police said Monday morning.

Police are looking to locate a missing New Cassel man who is deaf and mute.

According to authorities, Mohammed Saleem, 31, was last seen Saturday at 7 p.m. leaving an Elderberry Lane home on foot in an unknown direction.
He was wearing a multi-colored checkered shirt, black sweatpants and black slippers, police say.

Police described Saleem as 5 feet 2 inches tall, 100 pounds, with black-colored eyes, a black mustache and black hair.
Detectives request anyone with information regarding Saleem's whereabouts to contact the Missing Persons Squad at 516-573-7347 or call 911. All callers will remain anonymous.
