Man Exposed Himself To Women In Westbury: Police

Police say he would ask the women for directions and then expose himself to them.

A man was arrested Friday for exposing himself to women on two different occasions in Westbury, police say.

According to authorities, on both occasions, Chad Sabessar, 27, of Hempstead, would pull his black Honda accord up to a woman and ask for directions. Police say the woman would approach the vehicle, notice that Sabessar was exposing himself and then walk away.

An 18-year-old woman was targeted on Thursday, April 20 at Rockland Street and Cambridge Avenue at 4 p.m. A 45-year-old woman was targeted on Sunday, April 20, on Cross Street and Linden Avenue at 12:30 p.m. In the second incident, the woman was able to obtain Sabessar's license plate information and later identified him through a photo array, police say.

On Friday, a Freeport police officer observed Sabessar in his vehicle and placed him into custody. He was charged with two counts of public lewdness.

He will be arraigned Saturday at First District Court in Hempstead.
