Man Sold Drugs Inside Houlihan's Restaurant: Police

The man was found to be in possession of 42 oxycodone pills and 28 alprazolam pills, police say.

A man was arrested for selling drugs while at a bar inside a Westbury restaurant on Saturday, police say.

According to authorities, police responded to Houlihan's, located at 725 Merrick Ave., for a report of a suspicious man selling drugs at 12:30 a.m.

Nicholas Mayfield, 33, of Hempstead, was located outside of the restaurant and was found to be in possession of 42 oxycodone pills and 28 alprazolam pills, police say.

Mayfield was arrested and charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and a disorderly conduct charge from an open warrant from 2015.

Mayfield was arraigned on Saturday in First District Court in Hempstead.
