A 78-year-old man wast struck and killed by a SUV in Hicksville on Monday morning, police say.
According to authorities, the pedestrian was attempting to cross Newbridge Road, near West John Street, when he was struck by a 2008 Ford Suburban driven by a 52-year-old woman at 6:29 a.m.
The vehicle stayed at the scene and police do not suspect criminality at this time.
