Woman Found In Westbury Can't Account For Her Whereabouts

A woman who went missing from a Riverhead motel was found in Westbury days later but can't account for her whereabouts during that time, police say.

A 42-year-old woman was reported missing from the Swiss Motel, located at 1273 West Main St. in Riverhead, on June 6 and was last seen getting into a 1990s Chevrolet SUV, police said.

The woman was located on June 11 in Westbury but is unable to account for her whereabouts during that time; police are seeking to speak with two people who were seen on video surveillance in the company of the woman, police said.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest.

Anyone with information about the crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
