• High schoolers revved to build hot rod pickup (midhudsonnews.com) — Students at John Jay High School in Hopewell Junction are back in the garage, building a Factory Five 1935 Hot Rod Replica Truck through the Winners Circle Project. The program gives them real-world engineering, marketing, and project-management experience, and their finished vehicle will be auctioned at Mecum Auctions to help fund future hands-on learning opportunities.
   

• Classrooms to careers: Hudson Valley Credit Union awards college scholarships to student members (cuinsight.com) — A Hopewell Junction student, Jacob Cheung, is among eight Hudson Valley Credit Union members awarded college scholarships this year, and he's heading to the University of Pennsylvania. The program, alongside HVCU's broader charitable giving, aims to support local graduates' education and strengthen the Hudson Valley's future leadership.
