1st Annual Taste The Greats Celebration At Oheka Castle: Info
Food from top chefs and restaurants across Long Island, as well as wine, craft beer and spirits will be served.

HUNTINGTON, NY — The first annual Taste the Greats celebration is scheduled for Saturday, March 14 at Oheka Castle at 135 Westgate Dr., Huntington. From 8 to 10 p.m., guests will be served food tastings from prominent chefs and restaurants on Long Island, along with wine, craft beer and spirits, Taste the Greats announced via news release.
Live jazz will be performed by Dandy Welington and his band. VIP tickets include valet parking, a VIP room with special wines and an after-party from 10 to 11 p.m. with international DJ Joro Boro spinning tunes.
Special ticket holders will experience a meet and greet and book signing with Emmy award-winning television host, best-selling cookbook author, and restaurateur Lidia Bastianich.

Chefs joining Taste the Greats include Chef Andrew Minitelli of Osteria Morini, Guy Reuge of both Mirabelle and Sandbar, Chef Tom Schaudel of Kingfish, Chef Stephan Bogardus of The Halyard, Chef Kyle Koenig of Preston House & Hotel, Executive Pastry Chef of Oheka Castle Daniel Andreotti, Chef Berenice de Araujo of North Fork Table & Inn, Chef Craig Attwood of 5 Ocean Bar & Grill, Dirty Taco & Tequila, Chef Spiro Karachopan of Spiro’s, Chef Rob McCue of Granny's Ice Cream, Chef Marco Pellegrini of the soon-to-open Osteria Umbra, Chocolatier Linda Johnson of Chocology and Chef Francis Derby of Prime.
General admission tickets cost $100 and can be purchased at the Taste the Greats website.
