2 Arrested in Latest Huntington Massage Parlor Raid

The crackdown on massage parlors in the Huntington area continues as authorities conducted a raid on Monday afternoon and arrested two women, police say.

According to authorities, officials conducted an investigation into illegal activities at Foot Spa, located at 718 New York Ave., after receiving community complaints.

A raid was conducted at 3:20 p.m. and authorities subsequently arrested Xiao Hua Wang, 37, and Xiao Qin Wu, 37, both of Flushing, and charged them with unauthorized practice of a profession, a Class E felony under the New York State Education Law and Prostitution.

The women will be arraigned on a later date.

An investigation by Town of Huntington Code Enforcement officers also revealed numerous occupancy and Town Code violations.

The investigation is continuing.

The investigation was conducted by Suffolk County Police Second Precinct Crime Section officers, Suffolk County Police Second Squad detectives, Suffolk County Police Criminal Intelligence detectives and Town of Huntington Code Enforcement officers.
