2 Men Assaulted In Huntington Station: Police
Both men suffered serious injuries and were taken to the hospital - one several hours after he was attacked - police say.
HUNTINGTON STATION, NY — Two men were assaulted in Huntington Station on Monday night, Suffolk police said.
The men were attacked by a group of men while walking near the intersection of New York Avenue and Pulaski Road around 11:55 p.m., police said. The attackers fled, and the two who were assaulted walked away from the scene, police said.
One of the men who was attacked, a 37-year-old Huntington Station resident, was found by a passerby shortly after and not far from where he was attacked, police said. He suffered serious injuries and was taken to a local hospital, police said.

The second victim, a 30-year-old Huntington Station resident, was located by a passerby at New York Avenue and East 12th Street several hours later, police said. He was transported to a local hospital for treatment of serious injuries, police said.
Detectives are looking for the group who assaulted the men. Anyone with information was asked to call the the Second Squad at 631-854-8252 or anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
