3 People Steal Puppy From Huntington Station Dog Breeder

The people are wanted for grand larceny after stealing a Shih Tzu, police say. Have you seen them?

HUNTINGTON STATION, NY — Suffolk County Crime Stoppers is seeking the public's help in finding the three people who police say stole a dog from a Huntington Station dog breeder in January.

Two women stole a tan and white Shih Tzu puppy from Canine Corral at 1845 New York Ave., around 2:45 p.m. on Jan. 23, police said. They drove off in a black Chevrolet Express Conversion van, where a third person was waiting in the vehicle. The dog is valued at approximately $2,000. The trio is wanted for grand larceny.

Police ask anyone with information to reach Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and leave an anonymous tip via phone call at 1-800-220-TIPS, texting "SCPD" and your message to "CRIMES" (274637) or by email at www.tipsubmit.com. A cash reward of up to $5,000 is offered for information that leads to an arrest.
