- Huntington officials further limiting gas-powered leaf blower use. The town of Huntington is further restricting the use of gas-powered leaf blowers following complaints from residents over noise and odor disturbances. New town code now bans the use of the devices any time on Saturdays between Memorial Day and Labor Day — for both residential and commercial uses.(Newsday)
- BJ's in Commack expected to open in early 2022. Huntington really has it all, but lacks a shopping center for all your bulk needs. Good news folks, BJ's is coming right next door to Commack in early 2022. It will be in the former Macy's building on Veterans Memorial Highway. (Greater Long Island)
