  1. Commack Fire Department and Suffolk police host 13th annual blood drive in honor of fallen officer Glen Ciano. Officer Ciano was killed by a drunk driver while responding to call on Feb. 22, 2009. The event was held at the Commack Fire Department and attended by nearly 300 people. (News 12 New Jersey)

  • South Huntington Public Library: The library staff wore red for National Wear Red Day 2023. The day is an effort to spread awareness on stroke and heart disease in millions of women across America. Heart disease is the leading cause of death in the United States.
