Huntington Man Seriously Injured In Motorcycle Crash: Police

The man was hospitalized after the crash on Wednesday afternoon, police said.

HUNTINGTON STATION, NY — A motorcyclist was seriously injured in a crash with an SUV in Huntington Station on Wednesday afternoon, Suffolk police said.

The crash happened at about 12:40 p.m. at Park Avenue and East 5th Street, police said.

A 46-year-old Huntington man was riding a 2002 Harley Davidson south on Park Avenue when he collided with a 2025 Subaru SUV at the intersection, police said.

The motorcyclist was taken to Huntington Hospital in serious but non-life-threatening condition, police said. His name was withheld pending notification of next of kin.

The Subaru driver, a 79-year-old woman, was not injured, police said.

Both vehicles were impounded for safety checks.
