  1. ICYMI: ex-Book Revue employee aims for bookstore's 'Next Chapter'. It was a shock for many as Huntington's Book Revue closed their doors in September, but former manager Mallory Braun is not ready to hang it up just yet. Braun has created a Kickstarter page to raise $250k by December, and reopen the store as 'The Next Chapter'. (Huntington Patch)
  2. Huntington's Blue Line Deli up for Best LI deli. Blue Line Deli & Bagels opened last year in March, right as the pandemic struck. Instead of closing, owner Donald Rosner found a way and flourished. The Huntington Islanders themed deli has been nominated as one of the best on Long Island by Bethpage's Best of LI. Rosner said, "We are so proud to be nominated for best deli on Long Island, the other delis on this list are incredible, and to even be thought of at their level is an honor in itself." (Best of LI)
  3. Long Island Restaurant Week underway. Long Island Restaurant Week is underway. It runs through this Sunday. Participating restaurants are offering a three-course prix fixe for $25, $35 or $42.
