Body of Missing Great Neck Woman Found in State Park

Stella Y. Lee's body was discovered in a wooded area in Huntington on Monday afternoon, police said.

The body of a missing 22-year-old Long Island woman was discovered Monday at Caumsett State Park in Huntington four days after she went missing, police have confirmed.

According to detectives, a park employee found Stella Y. Lee, of Great Neck, deceased in a wooded area at 2:30 p.m.

Lee was last seen leaving her home Thursday at 3:27 a.m. in her white 2012 Honda, police said.

State Park Police discovered Lee’s car at Caumsett State Park on Saturday morning, but police were not sure how long it was there. Once the vehicle was discovered, an intensive search of the area then commenced.

The investigation is continuing and detectives believe no criminality was involved.
