Drunken Man Crashes Into Trees, Car Flips Over Onto Roof: SCPD

WEST HILLS, NY — A car drove into trees and overturned early Sunday morning in West Hills, according to P.I.O. Steve Silverman.

Ambro Flores Soriano, 30, of Huntington Station, was on Round Swamp Road near Westvale Lane around 3:30 a.m. Sunday when he crashed into trees and his 2004 Toyota flipped over onto its roof, Suffolk police said.

Soriano managed to free himself from the vehicle before firefighters got there. He was brought to Huntington Hospital with non-life threatening injuries via Huntington Community First Aid Squad ambulance. Soriano was arrested and charged with DWI, police told Patch.

The Huntington Manor Fire Department arrived under the command of First Assistant Chief Chuck Brady with a heavy rescue truck and two rescue pumpers.
